Within the USA
We struggle to find equestrian vacations that are close to home. Daily horse riding facilities seem abundant but an actual riding vacation seems hard to find within the USA. Why is this? Is it a lifestyle choice that people do not want to own guest ranches/facilities? Is the profit margin so low due to high insurance costs? Are americans just not as passionate about horse riding as the rest of the world? Perhaps a combination.
I would love to own a small B&B/ adventure outfitting business and combine riding, hiking, fishing and sight seeing with wonderful food and hospitality. One can dream……
