Just for a short while
Well I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th July celebration. I spent the week with a friend visiting from Florida. Like me, she is an avid horse lover. We rode and rode and rode some more. We even missed my local 4th July Parade as we were trail blazing and lost track of time. No hard feelings- we probably had a much better time!
As mentioned by a reader who commented recently, it is hard to find time to squeeze in all we enjoy. 
I am still recovering from the whirlwind of trying to fit in as much as possible while Elizabeth was visiting.We dined out many times, went hiking, had an overnight riding trip (see right), schooled the horses, danced till the wee hours and checked out a prospective horse for Elizabeth to take home to Florida, all in 5 days!
