Make-up on horses….
The remainder of the Arabian Breeders World Cup was successful for Equitours. We had the chance to chat to many visitors- horse enthusiasts, families, other business owners, competitors, and international tourists. It was certainly an eclectic crowd.
I do enjoy Arab horses and actually own one myself (this is a picture of my boy) but I am not an avid follower of bloodlines, breeding or showing. I prefer just hacking and trail riding my Arab or my Appendix Quarter Horse. Biggi and I often spend endless hours in the saddle up in the mountains of Wyoming on our horses. The side of the breed at this particular show was something totally different and unique for me, like you see in the magazines! I found the horses had a little too much make-up and “special effects” for my liking. Each to their own, I guess. The owners and handlers seemed to be enjoying themselves anyway!
