The other guests enriched my experience

Richard and I have similar opinions relating to the joy and enrichment received from exposing oneself to a broad spectrum of human beings. Often, the common theme of riding and horses can break the ice and that may be where the similarities end. Often I find this a positive trait as it opens the doors to all kinds of discussion. Richard felt the enthusiastic group he recently traveled to Kenya with, enhanced his vacation.

“I am always amazed at the ability of a shared love of horses and riding to draw a group of people from very different walks of life together for a harmonious and enjoyable horseback riding vacation.

On my recent trip to Kenya the group included a retired air traffic controller from Illinois, a veterinarian from Canada, and a medical school student (soon to be) from North Carolina. Where else in the world could such an eclectic bunch be brought together and not only get along, but take pleasure in each others company?

Our late night conversations around the campfire and under the stars were fascinating and I think I told the group more of my secrets than most of my friends know! I imagine that if the amount of lifelong friendships formed on our rides could be counted the figure would be astounding.”

I wonder if there are even some loves stories out there? Forgive me but I am a romantic at heart. Horseback riding vacations around the world together with your loved one. What could be more romantic?
