A change of pace

I would like you to get to know all staff here at Equitours. We are a small company with owners and staff from all over the world. You have heard from Ellen, Biggi, Aline and plenty from me. Now I would like to hand the stage over to Roz- our Office Manager, who will tell you about a recent trip Equitours sent her on.

Equitours is always looking for new riding holidays to add to our offerings. We get suggestions from faithful clients for specific countries or destinations. Some are just sent to us out of the blue from outfitters who want Equitours to book their rides. Others are the result of special requests. One of these requests is for more rides using gaited horses. So when The Great North Woods Trail in northern New Hampshire using Tennessee Walking horses, was presented to us, it was logical that we should look into it.

Equitours’ policy is to send one of our ride consultants to check out the ride before adding it to our repertoire. When asked if I was interested in doing this ride I had mixed feelings. I knew the country would be beautiful; fall foliage in the mountains of New Hampshire with all the hardwoods changing colors – who wouldn’t like it? But an entire week of riding without any trotting? Would the riding be boring? ”
