Like Ellen says, its not for those who like their creature comforts, but those of us who like to travel light and who look forward to escaping totally from the routines of 'normal' life the pleasure is immense. You're never far from your trusty horse the whole time and as long as you don't mind smelling a little like one (and your fellow riders don't mind it either!) you have plenty of time to build a real bond!
